Dawn; born and raised in Hong Kong, studying in London for her PhD in Neuroscience. In her free time, when she is not indulging in the perplexities of the brain, she bakes, among other things. It can take her hours; for her, baking is not a quick, robotic process: that is reserved for answering multiple choice questions at the back of a Pharmacology textbook. Baking is to Dawn as a stressball is to House.

The rest of her free time is spent being a geeky hermit holed up in her room, browsing Twitter and Serious Eats, playing FFXIV, cuddling her newly adopted cat, and if there is any time left, dreaming about holidays to Europe. And when the weather’s nice, she brings her DSLR out for walks.
